The main components of a gari processing unit are basically 3

    1. Gari frying or roasting stove
    2. The Grating unit
    3. The fermentation and pressing unit

Day 1. construction of the gari frying stove.
This is the most important component of any gari processing facility.
The image below shows the construction of an improved stove as compared to the traditional tripod stove. This improved stove increases production.

I can see something like a “chimney”. Is this going to be the smokeless type?

        That is great.

Why clay bricks and not cement blocks?

cement blocks cannot withstand the heat used in frying the gari. the cement will eventually flake due to the heat but clay bricks on the other hand is the direct opposite. clay bricks are made with heat and is therefore ideal due to its ability to withstand extreme heat

That makes a lot of sense.

The chimney is made of cement blocks, I guess because that part will not be subjected to such intensity of heat as the other part made of clay bricks.

I wish I knew the right terms to use for the various parts. haha.
